Character meet and greet with one adult and toddler

I managed to get one Fastpass+ for meeting Anna and Elsa for our trip. However my son said he didn't want to see them so my husband and him don't have FP+s for that attraction. If it's just me and my daughter even though she's pretty little if she's willing can I take her picture with my camera with them and will I be able to give somebody my camera to get a picture of both of us? I don't really need one of just her but I'm worried somebody else might not get a good shot of us and want one decent picture to document it since my daughter won't remember otherwise.

Oh definitely. Just give your camera/phone/tablet whatever your using to take pics with and the CM will be more than happy to take your picture. They even will take several. You will get your picture. are you doing memory maker or photopass? Its a nice option to have and get more pics with.

No we're not doing the memory maker or photopass. We felt like it was too expensive for pictures. Are you able to review it to purchase one or two pictures from the ones they take? I thought I read somewhere that you could do that for $15 a picture. I'd prefer to spend $30-60 on 2-4 really great pictures then $150 for a bunch of pictures. We have a really nice camera and are usually pretty good about getting family pictures and alternating who is taking the pictures when we go places.

I give my camera to the photopass photographers (or the character handler) every time. I've done a day with just my toddler by myself and it was totally fine We got group pictures and then a ton of ones of us interacting with them. Some photographers/character handlers are better then others at the amount they take, but you can always say "feel free to take as many pictures as you want."

Yes you can download or request a print for a fee. I know the download is 15$ per pic.

Do you have just 1 FP+ or do you have 2? Everyone who gets in line must have a FP. So for you to go in with your DD, you both must have fastpasses.

If her daughter is not 3 and not old enough to have a purchased ticket she doesn't need a FP. At least that was how it worked when we were last at Disney in December. Since my daughter was only 2 years 8 months she could just go with one of us. This worked well for us in Fantasyland. I would get a FP for Peter Pan and my husband would get one for Winnie the Pooh. My daughter would go right from the Peter Pan exit to the Winnie FP line with a parent transfer or a band swap.

I know you didn't really ask but Personally for us the $150 is more than worth it. Last time we ended up with hundreds of pictures on our Photopass. We are able to go online and add borders, logos, etc. The pictures are really good quality. I then upload them to an online site that is having a deal for free photos. Last year I was able to get 200 pictures printed just for a few dollars shipping. The kids put theirs in small albums, I made a scrap book, framed a few pics and still have a bunch that the kids love to sit and look at. Plus if you split up from DH/DS one of you doesn't have a camera with you.

I always pick up a Photopass card just in case, but I don't think I've ever gotten one good picture on any of our trips. I would just bring your camera and if there is a really great pic from Memory Maker, buy it out of pocket.
