Character Meals

Has anyone tried the Character Meals offered at Universal Studios' Hotels in Orlando? We are looking into the one held at the Hard Rock Cafe on Saturday nights. Characters are said to be Curious George, Scooby Doo, Shaggy and Woody Woodpecker. Apparently you order off the menu. Has anyone done this?

Some people love them, some hate them. If you love Scooby Doo, I would go. Alot of people say he always shows up and they have alot of time with him as a result.

We did the tratorio del porto at PBH and I would suggest bookning in advance we had reservations for 8.00pm and when we aproached the restuarant their where hotel guests complaining about not being able to get a table it was $12.50 per child and $25 per adult its a very nice buffet and the marshmallow milkshake is great according to DD and DW after soft drinks and a botle of house white $100 lighter it was good when we where dining in the islands dining room at RPR the buffet was $3.95 per kid but buffet was not as good by the way we didn't know that it was a character dinner that night at RPR it was just by chance character interraction is ltd we had scooby and woody at PBH kids liked it at RPR it was woody and popeye but only woody came to our table at RPR if u are going for character interaction don't its not as good as the disney breakfasts but if for fun and a good meal do but do it at PBH its better
