What are some of the best character meals for boys ages 2 and 6 years of age? I want to do at least one.

Thanks
Mary

Donalds is IMHO the best meal for boys. The dinosaur dig/scout theme is perfect.

I like Chef Mickey's because it's one of the couple that actually has Mickey Mouse there.

Most of them have Mickey

Donalds
'Ohana's
Garden Grill

I disagree. You originally listed four, but removed one of them because Mickey isn't there. WDW has about 15 character meals but only a few actually have Mickey.

I should have said he (Mickey) is at more meals than any other character.

Yes I made the mistake of naming one which he is not at, and I corrected that. I did not name the one you named, so yes he is at 4 different location.

Actually WDW offers 11 different location for character meals (actually I think it is down to 10. I don't believe the Gullivers Grill has characters anymore) and the only character at more locations than Mickey is Goofy.

However many locations only off one meal, and in the case of the Swan, the breakfast is only 1x per week. If you count the meals offered Mickey is at 7 meals. The same no as Goofy if he is still at Gulivers. Even if you count Gulivers, it is only 1X per week for breakfast and 5X for dinner. So actually Mickey does appear at more meals than any other character.

Now I agree with you. Lets face it, we both could have worded our original post in more detail but as so often happens, a sentence comes across meaning different things to different people.

For me the fact that my family likes Chef Mickeys does have to do with the fact that Mickey is there, but it also has to do with who the other characters are too. To get Chip, Dale, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Mickey is the best, but that is only IMHO.

Agreed... Sorry I got so defensive.

Anyway back to the OP...

It also really depends on what characters your boys love. Like I said the theme at Donalds is very boyish and it is all guy characters... donald, mickey, goofy and pluto.

We love Crystal Palace. Even 14 DS will put up with Pooh and the gang for the food (same with Cinderella's breakfast).

1. Crystal Palace (Pooh & friends)
2. Garden Grill (Chip & Dale)
3. Liberty Tree Tavern (Mickey & friends)
4. Chef Mickey's (Mickey & friends) (breakfast good -- dinner awful)

Whispering Canyon Cafe is alot of fun, although it does not have characters. The food is very good there and there are games and such for the kids to play.
