Character Meals

We're heading to Disney next weekend and are trying to make some last minute meal reservations. DS is 2 1/2 and has really been exposed to only the Pooh characters and the Mickey characters. We already have a reservation for Crystal Palace but are having a difficult time finding something with Mickey. Someone mentioned that Mickey and friends are sometimes at other restaurants (someone said they make an appearance at O'Hana?). Anyone know of other character meals where the main Disney characters are?

Chef Mickeys, Tusker House (for Donald's Safari Breakfast), Liberty Tree Tavern had characters, then took them away, then added them again while Crystal Palace undergoes renovations and I'm not sure where they stand at this point.

But, at this point it will be tough to get reservations. Good luck, and keep calling!!!

LTT will not have characters until CP goes down for rehab which, I believe, is January 3. It will be nearly impossible to get anything at Chef Mickey's at this point. You could try Ohanas. If you can't get a character meal, be sure to go to Mickey's Toonstown and go through Mickey's house and to the tent where you can get a picture and autograph with Mickey. When we were there in September, the wait was only about 15 minutes (seems the Princesses and the Fairies are more popular as there was an hour wait for them). And when we were there, Minnie was there too.

for Mickey, Tusker House mentioned above is a good suggestion. He's at Ohana with Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. It's another hard one to get. The Garden Grill in Epcot has characters at dinner. Mickey and Pluto are usually there and Chip and dale appear there too.

For other main characters, Cape May has a breakfast buffet with Goofy, Minne and Donald - no Big Cheese though.

Just FYI -- Characters are at Ohana for B-fast only. My 2 1/2 year old loved the dinner there even without characters. They let all the kids dance around the restaurant with maracas, play limbo and they get lots of leis.
