Which character meals are best for families that have both a boy and a girl in elementary school? We went to the princ. meal at Epcot last time and my son is revolting this year. Plus I cannot handle any more Norw. food.

We went to Chef Mickeys and loved it!!! We'll be sure to go back on our future trips. :)

Crystal Palace has Pooh characters but the food is really good. I've never been to Liberty Tree Tavern but there are plenty of people who have been there who love it...it's classic disney characters. There is a character breakfast at Tusker House with classic characters. Cape May and Garden Grill also have classic characters. Chef Mickey's also has classic characters and is a great first day activity to get you into the "disney mood" I'm thinking that your kids are too old for the Playhouse Disney breakfast at MGM/DHS.

Where do you want to eat? Poly has the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at O'Hana - we are doing that in two weeks. Chef Mickey's is very popular if your kids like the Fab Five. The Garden Grill in Epcot is good. Crystal Palace has Pooh and friends - that is one of our favorites!

Liberty Tree Tavern is really good. My children who are 6, 4, and 2 ate all the food and liked it. It is a new family favorite. It has Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. We are going to go back in September. A lot of people say the Norway princess meal is better for breakfast because it is regular food.

We've had great luck with Chef Mickey's Mickey and friends), Ohana breakfast (Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto), and Garden Grill (Mickey, Donald, Chip, Dale).

We did the 1900 Park Fare one last year and my kids are older and still enjoyed it! The Mad Hatter was great with my DS who was 15. He kept trying to fix him up with all the teenaged girls in the room! The characters are from the older disney movies like Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland.

My top picks for character meals are Crystal Palace and Garden Grill. I haven't been to Chef Mickey's but I've heard good reviews.
Good Luck w/ your choice!:)

My kids love the Garden Grill in Epcot! The food is actually pretty good and the interaction with the characters is great!

We have a DS8 and DD4. We all loved both the 1900 Park Fare bfast and the bfast at Tusker House at AK. They have safari-dressed Mickey, DOnald, Daisy and Goofy.

Our favs are in order, as follows:

The Garden Grille in Epcot. It rotates, has neat sights, and the usual Mickey/Donald/Goofy/Minnie/Pluto characters.

Chef Mickey's. This is in the Contemporary. The usual characters. They have a song they sing where everyone waves their napkins in the air.

The Liberty Tree Tavern. This is in MK. Family style meal. Usual characters.

Ohana's Breakfast. This is at the Poly. Hawaiian themed. There is a "parade" around the restaurant where everyone (kids included) sings and dances. Lilo and Stitch, along with a few of the usual characters.

Another vote for Chef Mickey's :thumbsup2

'Ohana is great too :thumbsup2

Our favorites are:

Ohana - Stitch, Lilo, Mickey & Pluto

Chef Mickey's - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale

Donald's Breakfastasuarus (now gone) - but I think the same characters are at the new one at Tusker House - Donald, Mickey, Pluto & Goofy

Another vote for Ohana's - Stitch, Lilo, Mickey & Pluto last year goofy was there for pics! :)
