Character Meals w/ 8 ur old

I've been having an issue getting a ADR around 5pm on an MK night (park hours planned for after dinner for Wishes) for a place around MK.

Finally I got an 1900 Fare at 5. I've always wanted to eat there so it makes me happy but my travel buddy is my 8 yr old nephew.

Is it totally wrong of me to make him go. Lol I've heard mixed reviews about the food but I love Strawberry Soup and 1900 is the only place that serves it!

I have been able to get a 4:40 at Boma (which I love and was my original plan) but thought a place closer to MK would be better.

Btw this is in September so free dining is happening (which I have).

Thoughts? suggestions?

Not wrong at all! You're being an awesome aunt for taking him at all, and 1900 PF is fun for everyone because the characters are funny. Plus you're right next to MK, so you're not going too out of your way.

Is he the sort to get embarrassed if the stepsisters try to get him to propose?

I'm sure opinions vary, but I really like the food there. They have a three-bean salad that I love! The characters are silly, and I think they would appeal to a boy, especially if he has a good sense of humor.

I'm at WDW now and took my almost 7 year old son to 1900 Park Fare and the stepsisters were hilarious and they both kissed him. I think he really enjoyed it but he's been to a lot of princess meals cause of his sisters!

My family loves 1900 PF. We had dinner there on our last visit and the step-sisters were hilarious. Anastasia was dreamy eyed for my son and left a big red kiss on his cheek! I think it's a great choice for you and your nephew!
