Hello! My boyfriend and I are going to Walt Disney World in May 2014. It is his first time there and my first time without my family (though I have been many many times).
My question and concern is-- I am a kid at heart and I LOVE character meals and just meeting the characters in general, I've talked to my boyfriend and he seems interested in doing them too. However I have only been to disney with my family and we are a big group, there's always someone who doesn't want their picture taken so they will take the shot of everyone else....
When we go it will just be the two of us and naturally I want us both in the picture together. Does anybody have any idea how this can be possible? (I've been to some of the places I'm going to book and usually a cast member is not with the character so there is no extra person to take the photo.) Usually I'd have no problem asking a stranger but being as people will be eating and enjoying time with their own families I feel strange about asking them.
Do you think it would be better to just skip the character meals and find the characters around the park so the photo pass photographer or person behind us can take the picture? I have loved these meals in the past and I really look forward to them, but I want us both to enjoy it and I want both of us in the pictures!
