Do any of the Character Meals offer the Photopass service. We are going to Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. If I have already bought the photopass I don't want to have to purchase an additional photo package for the meals.

I don't think so. Last year at Chef mickey's we had our photo taken while waiting for our table and then it was brought to the table for purchase. We didn't buy it.

I've read that if you do purchase the seperate photo offered at the restaurants, that you can attach it to your photopass afterwards and get *every* photo they took - even though you puchase just one.

Hmm... I hope that makes sense the way I worded it.

Even though you have the PhotoPass-- you will need to buy the photo to attach it to your photo pass.

If you purchase the photo we have to take the photo to the Kodak place and they will upload it.

The same goes for the ride photos.

Crystal Palace does not do Photos

Yes, that is right. We added our photos from CRT, CM, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare to our photopass. I often liked some of the pictures that they did not bring to the table better. CRT and Akershus photos are included. You must purchase the others to add them.

Can you take the picture with Mickey and other characters with your own camera at Chef Mickeys?

As of last september, none of the character dining had photo pass photographers.

You can take a picture with your own camera at any dining. We used our camera and our camcorder both.

Where is the Kodak place to add your dining and ride photos to your photopass? I am buying the photopass ahead of time, but only going to the Magic Kingdom for the Christmas party and then Hollywood Studios. Our breakfast at Ohana's is first. Is the Kodak place in the parks?

The restaurants that offer photos to buy, if you buy you can add them to your photopass. Also if you go to either Akershus or Cinderella's Royal Table it comes with pics and the Akershus photo will come with the photopass print out so you can add them online later.

Hope I explained that right. But no they won't just put it on your photopass card.

oh, didn't know you could also add ride photos! I successfully added Chef Mickey's last year, but didn't even ask about the Buzz Lightyear. oh well.

The Kodak store in MK is on the right when you're walking towards the castle. Closer to the entrance, though. I kinda remember the one in HS being around the same general area.

You dont have to take the photos anywhere to add them. The photos come with a code on them, you can add it to your photopass account yourself.

CRT, Askerhus, CM, Tusker House and one or two others do have photopass photographers, for the package photos.

Only Test Track (and I think Space Mountain as of recently)
can be added to photopass.

I believe that all ride photos can be added to your photopass account IF PURCHASED. Test Track can be added without purchase (in fact you can't purchase the picture at the ride) but the rest should come with a code written on the side of the picture if you choose to buy it. Just use that code to add the picture to your photopass account when you get home.

That wasn't true (having the code on the purchased ride photo) the last time we purchased a ride photo - either Splash or ToT, I can't remember. But that was probably a year ago, so maybe that has changed.

I looked all over for the PP code on the photo and receipt and there wasn't one.

Maybe that's new, IDK. We haven't been in a year, so maybe it has changed. bradk's site still says the following:

"Attractions - At this time, only Test Track at Epcot and Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom have incorporated Disney's PhotoPass technology into their ride photo systems. "

We just returned and we did not get a code for the pictures we purchased on the rides to add to the photopass. Wish it was but it was not.
