Character meals and getting PS's...

Has anyone else ever stepped back from the situation and just laughed uncontrollably?

We roll out of bed with enough time to synchronize our watches and call everyday to get a seating for this not that great breakfast in a make-believe castle with make-believe people. It's so funny when you think about it! I mean, I don't think people would go to this much trouble if it was Queen Elizabeth herself!

It's crazy isn't it? I mean, I'm waiting for Illuminations, and a guy runs over and says, "well, I was productive! I waited in line for Aladdin and I was able to get his autograph for Jessie!" ... now just pause and consider his statement...

So I start cracking up and Mom asks what's so funny. I mean It's not *really* Aladdin and if Dad asked anybody to sign "Aladdin" in Jessie's book, would Jessie know the difference?

I love Disney. It's the only place I know where a Dad will wait in line to have a person in a costume sign an autograph book for a daughter who isn't even present.

It's a hoot, isn't it?!!!

All us Disney fanatics are nuts. We're all just completely loony.

That is too funny and too true! Now just think if Dad had forged the fake autograph. How much would Mom have scolded him behind the kid's back? lol

Our extended family who is meeting us for Thanksgiving at WDW is probably laughing behind my back. They can't even imagine planning what park to set foot into before they roll out of bed at an undesignated time.

LOL! Thank God my kids arent into autographs!

I did however, do the Cindys thing for my nieces. We are always up well before 7:00am anyway so that wasnt too tough to take. I found myself comical when I ran into my mother on the street. After our 7:00am calling spree one Saturday, I went out for my jog and ran into my mother taking a walk. She had woken up early(not planning too) and tried to call too. Here we are, on the sidewalk, ranting and raving about not being able to get PS for Cindys at 7:15am! People must have thought we were nuts. Luckily we both got them the next morning.
