Character Meal

We'll be at Universal later this month staying at Hard Rock. My kids are 6 and will love any character meal, they especially love the minions! Any recommendations for good meals? Someone at Hard Rock told me Jakes would probably be the best bet for a "minion" interaction. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated!!

I went to the Universal Orlando site, dining, and then character dining. I think this is all of the character meals at UO and the hotels. I think it's up-to-date. It doesn't say which characters are where though. I think I searched on DIS to find that previously.

i've done the breakfast and dinners at the hotels when the characters were present.


check with the hotel on which nights the characters will be present.
it does change at times.

this past october the characters were at Island Dining Room on a saturday night at rpr.

present were scooby doo and homer simpson.


it won't always be the above characters so ask at one of the hotels if they are aware of who will be present.

at all the hotel dinners, you order off the regular menu.
the characters show up and come to the dinners tables.


at the breakfast with the minions at rph when i was there last time, our meal was the breakfast buffet.
you can also order off the menu.

the breakfast buffet at Cafe La Bamba is in the park.
