character meal ?

Is the Garden Grill the only character meal that I could guarantee seeing Chip? My DS wants to dine where we can meet Chip, but there are lots of other places at Epcot that I'd rather eat than the Garden Grill.

Does Chip typically do meet-n-greets around the parks? I can't really remember seeing him out and about.

Chip and Dale can normally be found at MK and also at Epcot often (sometimes near International Gateway and sometimes near American Adventure). Garden Grill though is the only character meal that has them now.

Right now, Garden Grill is the only character meal with Chip & Dale (they used to appear at LTT, but they were booted out 2 years ago). As for appearing in the parks, they should be fairly easy to find. I've seen them at MK and at AK in Camp-Minnie-Mickey.

Personally, if your DS really wants to have a character meal with Chip, I would plan on doing this meal one night. It's a fairly relaxed experience, the food is good, and you can get plenty of face-time with the characters (depending on the # of people in the restaurant, the characters may come around more than once). The food is served family-style, where you can have all you want, but they bring it to you (as opposed to a buffet).

I can't imagine you having any trouble meeting Chip 'n Dale. The last two times we were there, we couldn't get away from them! LOL

As other PP said Chip and Dale can be only seen from Garden Grill for character breakfast. However, they are very easy to spot. On our last couple trips, we saw them at Epcot and MK.

This sounds like something we'll enjoy more! I'll have to investigate this. I've looked at GG menu and pics of the food and I don't think there's a single thing on that meat platter that any of the 3 of us would eat. We're fairly picky eaters! And that's the only way to get your food at GG, right?

They are also at Epcot. We got our autograph & picture there. I believe they were right outside the character spot/building.

My daughter spends one night a trip with grandparents at Ft. Wilderness, and she loves the Campfire Sing-along!

We also saw them in futuristic gear in Tomorrowland at MK.

I would definitely plan to see them at Fort Wilderness for the sing along and bonfire.... it's FREE!!!!!

You don't have to stay for the movie... you could just go for the sing along and then leave if you wanted. It would afford you the ability to eat somewhere you would like better, but you would have to make time in one evening to go over to Fort Wilderness. We haven't done it yet, but plan to in June and are really looking forward to it!

Thanks fellow Diser's! I knew you guys would have a solution. The campfire sing a long looks perfect! It may be a little kiddish (his term) for my DS, he'll be 13, but if you can't be kiddish at WDW then you take yourself way too seriously!
Plus he's a Boy Scout so he does enjoy a good campfire! And GG may be delicious but I don't think we'd enjoy the food at all.

Chip & Dale are also at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. That is my DD's #1 favorite meal of the trip.
