A friend of mine said that at Universal, character meals are for resort guests only. Is that correct? I've never been to US/IOA, but I'm guessing that is incorrect. Thanks for settling a friendly argument.

Hope you bet something good - you win. Each resort has a character meal in one of their restaurants, but they aren't limited to only resort guests. There is also a character breakfast at IOA and anyone can go to that, as well.

your friend is probably thinking of the nick hotel. You have to be a guest there to go to character meal there. At universal, you can go to character meals at the hotels without being a guest.
