When you do a character meal in WDW do you get a pin like you do at DL?
The large ones not the trading ones.

When we went in 2006 we didn't, don't know if it has changed since then.

My DD has one from Cinderella's Royal Table from November 2006, but I didn't see any others on our trip last week, (we did 5 different character meals). Too bad, I think she'd really have enjoyed a pin.

We didn't get a pin at Goofy's Kitchen or Ariel's Groto in Disneyland and have never received a pin (button?) at any WDW restaurant either

We ate at 4 different CM's at WDW last September (for a total of 6 CM's at 4 different places, twice at two) and did not receive anything (other than a meal and some character interaction)!

Crystal Palace CM (dinner) however, the management there had wonderful pins to trade, so if you go... keep an eye out! :goodvibes

When my dh and I were on our honeymoon 12 yrs. ago we received pins from 1900 PF that said, "I had a Grand time". Still have them too.

Haven't received another pin since so I guess they don't do it anymore.

1) At one time, WDW gave pins at character meals.
2) But, character meals have become very popular.
3) Especially with DDP.
4) Thus, they do not have to give out pins to induce patronage.

We bought a Chef Mickey's pin at the park, but haven't seen any for the other Character meals we've been too...anybody seen pins for Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic Breakfast? :confused3 We'd love to have them!!

Disneyland resort gives out big round button pins (like a birthday button) at all its character meals. We've collected more than our fair share and it's currently in our disney box of stuff.

That's a bit of a bummer that WDW doesn't do the same. They are great little, inexpensive reminders of fun meals we've had as a family.

Although you do not get a pin, they are now starting to sell pins of the various dining experiences. I saw these at MK in Frontierland last month.
