character meal-Mickey??

I know no characters are guaranteed at the character meals. My DS4 is all about mickey and my DS7 is all goofy. so goofy's kitchen will take care of him. But the reason for the trip is a reward for DS4. Is there any way to get a sure fire meeting with the big mouse?

I don't know if there is a character meal where Mickey will be on a regular basis, but we saw him several times on Main Street as the park opened (Goofy too), and in Toontown, you can go to his "house" and wait to see him. The line goes through the house and there's lots of stuff to entertain kids as you wait. Then you do get a hug/picture op at the end.

No, Mickey does not appear at any of the character meals at the Disneyland Resort. He does tend to make appearances at the Happiest Birthdays on Earth Celebrations, but that's about it. Oh, he also shows up at Club 33 for Sundaay Brunches, but...well...good luck with that one.

Otherwaise, as posted above, your best shots to meet Mickey are to wait in line at his house in Toon Town, or catch him when he's visiting in Town Square on your way into or out of the park.

In addition, Sorcerer Mickey is often found performing in the Drawn to the Magic show in DCA and is available for a meet/greet afterward.

I have found the times I have done the disney rewards card meet and greet in DCA it was mickey and goofy.

There is never a line got right in I would advise you to get the chase disney rewards card plus you get free stroller rentals on top of it and discounts on food.

One of the mornings we went on our trip, Mickey, Donald, and Minnie were all at the top of MainStreet in different places in their YOMD outfits and they each had lines and were doing meet n greets. I don't know if they do that every morning or not, but it was a week day.

When we were there last Oct we had Mickey all to ourselves at his house in TT right after the parade. We skipped the parade since we'd seen it just the night before, but had not made it to TT yet. We didn't expect to see any characters at all, but the girls wanted to go kwim. Well, after poking thru the front of MM's house, we realized there was more! We made our way thru to the back where 2 CM's said, "wait just a minute and Mickey will be glad to see you!" None of us could believe it!!! We were the only ones there, so we had plenty of time w/him too! FWIW I think he was in his Sorcerer's costume.

Maybe you could get lucky too?
