Character Meal - Lunch or Dinner

I really like the plaza for dinner and i have not done any character meals for lunch!

I agree the late seating at Minnie's is awful. We did a later seating hoping to make an early lunch of it (I want to say 10:30ish). We were sat on the outer edge and had to complain after 45/60 minutes with NO characters. We could see them make the rounds on the porch and then go backstage. It has really made us gun shy on character meals. I've heard such good things about Minnie's, but it was really bad for us. We have done Storytellers and Surfs Up and both were much better.
