Character meal guest count question

Would love to book a character meal for our family of four, but my question is, do we include my 2 year old on the dining reservation and will he be a $35 meal? That seems a little unnecessary considering 1) he isn't required to have a park ticket 2) we do not order him meals in restaurants, just share off plates or bring in food

Just trying to see how this works with a character meal since they can be quite expensive. My 5 year old daughter would love to do it. Looking at Tusker house and trying to get an idea of total costs for our family. Thanks!

Include him on the count but he won’t be charged.

Yes. Include him for numbers, but you won't pay for him.

You must include all humans.
No he will not be charged but he must be listed due to safety. They need a head count of the amount of people in the building at any given time due to fire codes and capacity.

No.
Its completely acceptable and expected.
children under 3 can share from the plates of others in the party and at buffest they can have their own plate.

Once the child hits 3 then he is required to have a ticket and pay for buffet meals.

Until then the child needs no ticket and can eat no cost at buffets and share w siblings or parents.

most character meals are buffets or all you can eat. you will be able to make your 2 year old his own plate at no cost to you. most times ours have been given a drink also at no cost but yes you do have to count them on Ressie. if it is a place where you order off menu then yes your kids can share a plate. happens all the time

No need to have him share at Tusker House. You can make him his very own plate. We've always gotten a drink for free for a little one as well.
