Character Location Questions

Just a few weeks until I'm back at WDW!

I was checking info abou character greeting locations and I noticed a couple locations that I've seen listed that did not have times posted anymore on the Walt Disney World Live Entertainment site. Does anyone know if these locations are still in use and if so what times they are in use?:

* Adventureland Breezeway (Robin Hood characters)

* Toontown Welcome Sign (Chicken Little/ Abby Mallard)

* Outpost between China and Germany (Timon/ Rafiki)

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I don't have an answer to your specific question, but I can tell you that when we were there 11/11-11/18, here's where we saw those characters:

Robin Hood characters: never saw them.

Chicken Little / Abby Mallard: MGM by the sorcerer's hat

Timon / Rafiki: Magic Kingdom... Adventureland

WHen I was there in August, Rafiki and Timon were at the Outpost at Epcot. I'm not sure about now, but at that time they were there.

I do believe I also saw the Robin Hood characters in Adventureland's Breezeway. It was a few months ago so I may be incorrect, but some of the schedules may have changed since then. I hope you find out for sure!

The Adventureland Breezeway and African Outpost locations are currently not in use.

The Toontown Welcome Sign area, however, is still being used, with Chicken Little and Abby Mallard appearing throughout the day.

adventure land and the africa location are only used on peek days of the season. It was until recently that the outpost was the only place rafiki had his staff. they took that away though.

Good to know. Since the Breezeway and Outpost are not commonly used, I guess I'll take them off my list of locations to check out. I'll still be sure to check out the Toontown sign though. Thanks everyone.

I was at Disney two weeks ago, and I never saw the Robin Hood characters in Adventureland. I walked by repeatedly on many different days, and nothing! I did see the Sheriff and Prince John at the ToonTown Train Station on one day, though. I did see Abby Mallard and Chicken Little alternating with each other in front of the ToonTown Sign. No sign of any characters at the Outpost. When are you going? Of course, give a detailed character report when you return!

I saw Timon and Rafiki in Adventure Land, and Abby M. and Chicken L. by the TootTown sign!!!

I'm afraid that I won't be at MGM this trip. It's a short one and I wanted to see the new stuff at MK and EPCOT so I won't be making it to MGM or AK.

I have seen the Robin Hood characters many times sort of near the firestation on Main Street in MK. Usually in the early evening. I know you said that you aren't going to AK but for others reading this thread that love Robin Hood (as I do) I also see those characters all the time at AK before you go through the turnstiles, in the morning. You can always ask a cm at the MK in Town Hall where to find your favorites.
