Hi all!

Just curious what you have been noticing with character interactions while on board. Are hugs back? Close-ish pictures? Autographs?

I'm really hoping hugs are back, this will be my first ever Disney visit, I haven't been able to go to a park or anything yet and I will cry meeting Minnie Mouse and all the characters.

Also, should I bring my autograph book for our September cruise or will it just be wasted space in my bag?

Thanks in advance!

No hugs no autographs. Distance on the Magic and Wonder seems to be closer than the other ships

Guests stand on a spot on the floor. We were on the Wonder and the distance was substantial. Cast members do a great job of “narrating” the conversation for the non-speaking characters (ie mickey & friends) and the princesses were adept at bringing out a conversation. I thought there was more conversing and interaction time than pre-Covid but this also could have been that there are less people on the wonder than my previous experiences (park and fantasy) and so there was no need to rush the interactions.
