Character Help

Hi All, hoping someone can come along and help me. Just read about the Disneyland Family Fun Weekends, and it sounds like the character weekend was great for character lovers. Also remember that D23 hosted an event where a lot of rare characters were out. Was just curious if there is anything being talked about in the near future like this. I do not keep up with the D23 events and am not a member but would join if I could go to an even like this. Anyway, hoping for someone that can come along and help me, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.
