Character height requirements?

I'm pretty short and this has always fascinated me. Maybe when DH retires?
Just curious what the different character height ranges are...

Height ranges are 5’0” to 5’2” and 5’5” to 6’4” for males. Height ranges are 4'8" to 6’1” for females. "Chipmunk size" is 5'0"-5'5" and "Pluto" starts at 5'6". The ranges can overlap -- a "Mouse size" may also be able to do a "Duck size" (under 4'8") costume or a "Chipmunk."

Wow. A duck is short! Maybe that is why Donald is so hard to find?

I'm 4' 11". Does that leave me only at a mouse? Or could I be a chipmuck, too?

If you think about how many Characters there are at Disney, you'll realize that what you have here are very, very basic guidelines. "Mouse height" means more than just Mickey and Minnie, just as "Pluto height" means more than just Pluto. There are several characters in each height range.

But I'd rather not post the entire pantheon of characters and their height ranges!

The saddest day for my husband was the day he saw that a certain Snow White(very beautiful and very, kind EACH time we met her) of the 80's and early 90's was in the parade at MK as the Fairy Godmother. Made us all feel old.

Most of the princesses are 5'5" to 5'8" and I think a few may start at 5'4".

Chipmunk is 5'1"-5'4". You have to be 5' or under for mouse. Duck is about 4'10" or 4' 11". Pooh is 5'-5' 3". He used to go up to 5'2" but they raised it with a new design recently. It's a very awkward costume and many have been disapproved. It puts more people on light duty for back and neck pains than any other I know.

Queen of Hearts can be played by a girl if she happens to be tall enough. I've seen it done once.
