Our flight gets into MCO at 5:30 on Sat Aug 5. We plan to rent a car to drive to the port that night.

I am thinking it might be fun to stop off and have dinner at Disney before we drive to the port and check into our hotel. Any ideas of where would be good and fun? Chef Mickey's? Downtown Disney? We won't have park tickets so nothing inside the parks. But a character meal would be a fun start to our vacation. Didn't there used to be a dinner with Cinderella?

I have a DD6 and DS13. We could hang out pretty long as the drive over to Port Canaveral is only about an hour. Thanks for the ideas!

If you're looking for a character meal to get you in the mood, Chef Mickey's would be really great!

...is 1900 Park Fare. At the Grand Floridian. Cinderella drops by, and her mice, and the Prince. Great food, great atmosphere, great fun!

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is another option.

That's about it outside the parks for dinner, I think...
