My 19-year old Daughter and I will be visiting DL for the first time next month. I want us to have dinner at a character dinner buffet the first night that serves prime rib. We love Chef Mickey's at WDW.

Which of the two is a good choice: Storyteller's Cafe or Goofy's Kitchen?

Do they both have the same amount of choices on the buffet?

Thank you!

I would suggest Goofy's Kitchen since first off I think Storyteller's Cafe only does a character breakfast. I think Goofy's Kitchen is like Chef Mickey's at Disney World. Goofy's Kitchen has a great variety of food, you could find almost anything you want there, they do have prime rib I'm pretty sure.

I've only done Storyteller's Cafe dinner for our second trip since DCA opened, but I would have to say I was dissapointed since there weren't any characters and the food wasn't all that great easier.

A thumbs up for Goofy's Kitchen from me! :thumbsup2

DisneylandGal is correct. Storyteller's does not have a character dinner. The only 2 character dinners in teh DLR is Ariel's Grotto and Goofy's Kitchen. We've done dinner at Goofy's Kitchen and liked it. The food was good, butr service was a little lacking. I don't believe Ariel's Grotto serves prime rib, so Goofy's Kitchen may be your only choice as a character dinner.f I think you'll be happy with it though.
