I am making my reservations for our trip in December. Should we do dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace? My children are DD6, DD5, and DD2.

The food at CP is very good, the character experience for us though was dissapointing, we completed our meal, and sat waiting for the characters to come around to our table!!! Eventually they all did, but it was way too long a wait.

I suggest Crystal Palace (dinner is just ok but character interaction is wonderful) for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner (food is great). If you can't do that though, eat at Liberty Tree Tavern.

I vote for Crystal Palace as well.....food is great I love it haven't been in two years to eat there though so I can't say how the characters are :(

We had dinner at CP last Monday. The food was great and the characters were wonderful!! My DS(6) had a fantastic time!! :thumbsup2

We ate at CP for dinner on our first trip with an 18 month old B and 4 year old G - and again last October when they were 5 and 9. WE THINK IT IS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTER MEALS WE'VE HAD-we are huge fans of Pooh and friends, great choices and great interaction with the characters.

We ate at LTT last visit and would try elsewhere before going back again. Food was just ok and where we were seated (behind, and VERY close to a family whose table manners left my kids agog) wasn't great. We had fleeting visits from the characters and it all felt just too crowded and rushed.

We are returning to Chef Mickeys this visit as choices were great and interaction was outstanding (we had a late seating and there were only 4 other families left in the whole place, Goofy went bananas and spent about 30 minutes with us alone.....ahhh, happy memories....)

Whatever you choose - enjoy...it'll give you goosebumbs seeing the kids faces!

Thank you all so much for your advice! I think we are going to go with CP since there seems to be more of a selection of food for my picky eaters, and my kids love Pooh. I can't wait!

Think you made the right choice if your kids are picky eaters. CP is a buffet and LTT is basically Thanksgiving Dinner. We have ate at both, but only the CP for Breakfast so I can not comment on their dinner buffet, but my kids love it.

The food I dont think is better at one more than the other but it depends on which characters you want to so see. http://allearsnet.com/din/cbchar.htm dont know if the link will work but thats a list of where all the characters are so you may want to use that to decide where you are planning on eating :cool1: have fun and enjoy either place
