Character Dining

Good Evening -
SO - we have not been since Oct 2016! Obviously, the changes since then are immense. We literally JUST decided to go Mar 2023. My kids will be 20. 18, 15 - but we still love character dining!!! I tried to google what was back since COVID - but, I only see like 5 places. Is that true??? What the....why would these not be back yet? Am I not googling correctly? Are there more than 5 or so available? Thanks!

We're not big character dining people but do them with the extended family. With kids your age I'd do Storybook Dining. Great food and cool characters. Second would be Chef Mickey's. Terrible food but best character dining character interaction. My parents made us do it when I was like 18....I hated it...but looking back some great photos.

why would these not be back yet?

Maybe Disney is having a slow time of finding enough “close friends” of the characters.

Storybook Dining @ Artist Point
Chef Mickeys
Garden Grill
Tusker House
Topolinos
Be our Guest (beast only)
Cinderella's Royal Table (cinderella only)

It has been announced that characters are coming back to Crystal Palace in September and to the breakfast at Cape May Cafe in October, so those will both be open by the time you visit.

No return date yet announced for Akershus, 1900 Park Fare or the character breakfast that at Trattoria al Forno.

This is great!! Thanks for all the specifics. 1900 Park Fare has always been my fave. Storybook Dining and Toplolinos are new to me. Storybook will be a definite want since Dwarves are rarely seen Thank you!
