Hi I was just wandering what character dinning experiences you all paid for and if they were worth it?

I've booked for either lunch or dinner at cafe Mickey - what characters should I expect to be there?

Also we r staying at the DLH and I read inventions have character breakfast is that included in my booking as I have paid for bed and breakfast.

At the time I was booking I wasn't offered any other dinning experiences but see that you can go to a tea party is that any good?

Thanks

The characters are outside the restaurant, not during the breakfast. But there is character breakfast at Mickey's cafe.

We've done Mickey's cafe twice and once Inventions Sunday brunch. We've had two different experiences with Mickey's cafe - bad and good. Food isn't so good and worth the price. Character interaction was good. But Inventions just tops it. We much more characters, food was much better, and interaction was much better. To tell the truth and don't consider going back to Mickey's cafe again. But on the other had you can do Mickeys cafe much cheaper and Inventions is highly priced.

As Isila said the characters are stationed outside the breakfast room at the DLH breakfast but they change regularly so you should get different photos on your way out than on your way in.

To be honest we've enjoyed all our character meals at DLP. Our absolute favourite is Inventions (character dining at dinner and Sunday brunch) both for food and character interaction but we've also had very enjoyable times at Cafe Mickey both in the evening and at lunchtime. Obviously Cafe Mickey food isn't in the same league as Inventions but we've never had a bad meal there and you can cut the costs down a lot by not ordering a 3 course meal each, ie you could share pizzas. There is also a Sunday brunch with characters at the Steakhouse in Disney Village. I've not been there for several years but it used to be very good (you see quite a few locals in there which is always a good sign) and is a cheaper alternative to Inventions Sunday brunch.

Characters do vary but we always seem to see Mickey (especially at Cafe Mickey!) and Pluto!

There's also Auberge for the Princesses but I've not been there since that got turned into character dining .....

I'd definitely recommend Mickey's Cafe, the food is average but the experience is definitely worth it! :rotfl:
