Character Dining Parking

I'm taking my family on a trip next month, but we're staying offsite. I have a PS for Chef Mickey's the morning we leave to head to Ft. Myers. Can you drive to the Contemporary directly from an offsite hotel, or what is the best way to get there for breakfast? Any help would be great! Thanks.

Drive straight there and tell the guard you have reservations for a meal. We do it every year.

We've done it too. We love to eat at various WDW hotel restaurants when we're out for a weekend and are staying off site with a rental car, and it has never been a problem. The biggest challenge is finding a semi-close parking space!
