Character Dining - Mickey

Hello everyone! DH and I are taking our 6 year old DGS with us to WDW this coming November. He is a big Mickey fan! In the past we have done Chef Mickey's, Ohana, Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, and Akershus character meals. I know out of those, Chef Mickey's will be the best bet for Mickey. Are there any other meals that Mickey visits? Are there any others that you would recommend for him to see Mickey?

I thought I remember seeing him at Tusker House in AK but he may just have been in the park itself - characters are subject to change but it may be worth a shot trying there.

Garden Grill is my favorite. Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale are all there. It's a very relaxed character meal because you don't have to try to time buffet visits around character visits, and every time we've eaten there the characters have spent a lot of time with us. We've also never seen the characters less than twice during each meal.

Garden Grill is the best Mickey interaction and we've done all of his character meals.

He is at Ohana for breakfast, but I agree with PP that Garden Grill is the best character interaction we've had probably, i.e. spent the most time and actually interacted other than just taking a picture and walking off. Mickey sat down and "talked" to us at GG, as did Chip and Dale both.

Also a fan of Farmer Mickey at GG! At breakfast last April he was proud to "tell" us that some of what we were eating came from his farm.

We love Tusker House for the food and Mickey is super cute there. We don't particularly like the food, but the character interaction at Garden Grill is fantastic. Mickey is adorable in his farmer outfit and Chip and Dale are hysterical.

Same. We did not really enjoy the food at garden grill either but the character interaction was great. We did dinner so I wonder if breakfast food is better.

Agree with garden grill... lots of great interactions. We did breakfast and really enjoyed the food too!
