Asking opinions for early dinners for character meals like around 4-4:30 mark?

I had never considered it until just recently playing around on the Dining website getting ideas for our ADRs at the end of the month.

Do you find that the food is a little better for buffets specifically Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare or Tusker House

Also is the character interaction better since I figure it's not as crowded during those times.

Thanks for advice

The restaurants will be fully booked all day, so I don't think hope they won't be as busy is going to pan out. Food is consistent all evening.

The food is the same quality no matter when you go. They replenish frequently. As for character interaction, it doesn't mater if it's crowded or not...the characters will interact with everyone the same. It doesn't tend to be any less crowded at 4pm than it is later.

We like earlier dining in the 4:30-5:00 range more specifically because my two DS tend to get crankier as the evening goes on and we appreciate a whine free dinner! (not WINE free!) :P

Free wine is the best wine, though.

Probably depends on season/crowds more than time. However, we went to 1900 PF last trip at 4:30p and the place was only about half full (it filled up by 5:30p). The food was very fresh and tasty.

thank you all for the replies we have a toddler so earlier I think will be better just curious about the other!

Thanks again!

I think in terms of crowds it won't make a difference. In terms of food however I think it might. I know we've had a few later ones where they've stopped restocking the food which meant less food and the food that was there was probably sitting there a while whereas if you're there early it's changed over pretty quickly. Definitely a good idea for early ADRs with kids as sometimes it can take a while to see all the characters,

I have seen here recently several people saying that they got the best character interactions ever in the least full restaurants with the earliest dinner seating. It has me thinking to book the earliest Minnie's seasonal dine just because.
