character connection at epcot

is this where you still see the characters at Epcot? i have also read this is where disney visa rewards character greet is done? any info on this greatly appreciated.

Go to Innoventions West from 1.30PM to 4.30PM for free picture for Disney Visa Members (5*7). If you are going to Epcot on 2 different days, you can get this picture twice.

We were there last week and my son got to play with the characters for almost 5 minutes all by himself.

This is true but there is also a Character Connection at Innoventions west but on the other side of the path to Living seas and the Land area.They rotate the characters there as well and it's for everyone.

The Disney Visa Meet & Greet is located across from the Firetruck in the first entrance to I west.

Character Connection at Epcot usually has Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip and Dale. It is open from about 9-5.

Last time I was there they were in the blue YOAMD outfits. And where in NJ are you from JoAnnPan?

On 11/28, we were at the Disney Meet and Greet for Visa cardholders and they were in the bluish costumes, too....but it was nice having the characters to ourselves. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy and while my DD4 was shy around them, she did give them all hugs and I have this wonderful pic of her kissing Minnie on the nose I'm so glad I found out about this from these boards before we went on the trip.

If you can see my signature, that is the Epcot character meet and greet last December - the "regular" one for everyone. It was great! I think when we were there, it was the first week the characters were in their new location, and not many people knew about it. We were in the room with the characters all to ourselves for about 10-15 minutes.....we talked the CMs into letting us get a group shot of us with all the characters together. It took some convincing from Mickey, but it happened! I am not sure how it is this year, but I thought Epcot was by far the most relaxed place to hang out with the characters.

We saw Mickie, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy at the Character Connection, in their fancy blue duds...not a Visa card thing, as we don't have one. It was very nice -- no line, very low key -- in fact, at one point no one was waiting for Pluto and he was shrugging his shoulders, scratching his head, like what am I, chopped liver? We'd walked by him as we had seen "him" two days before, but my son felt sorry for him and went over and got another autograph and some nice pictures with a very grateful Pluto.
