Character Connection at EPCOT

Just got back from an AWESOME week at Disney! One of the "surprises" we came upon was the Character Connection in the Innoventions East building in EPCOT near Spaceship Earth. I had heard about it but didn't look into it before our vacation. One day we happened to be there so we walked in. Within about 15 - 20 minutes we were able to get pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale, Pluto and Donald. Out in the lobby was Goofy and Gepetto.

Check the times in the guide when you get there and check it out! We used the photo pass system for the pictures - they stand the characters in front of EPCOT backdrops so the pictures come out real nice.

It is wonderful isn't it??!! We 'found' it on our trip in May. Such short wait times, it was incredible. Although be sure you enter from the correct side. We were there and there was a gentleman who was most irate. Seems he tried to enter from the exit side, and then jump into the line for Mickey, which is the first line when you enter. The CM wouldn't allow him to do it...sent him back to come back in the correct way. He said the exit people told him to do it that way....evidently they hadn't because they were pointing the exit out to him and showing him how to get into the entrance line. Seems he figured he could circumvent the huge line waiting to see M.Mouse...it was all of 5 people long!!!! The exit door is plainly marked, as is the entrance.
WE loved it and my dd got to spend a fair amount of time with the characters for a change since there weren't any kids waiting behind her....and it would seem that people only wanted to see Mickey and Minnie, leaving Chip, Dale, Goofy, and Pluto to just stand there, feeling left out. Dd remedied that quickly!!!
