Aloha everyone! Besides Goofy's Kitchen, what is your favorite character breakfast?

Minnie's at the Plaza. Enjoyed it much more than Goofy's. Better setting, better food, better character interaction.

What are you looking for in a character breakfast?

I like Mickey's because Mickey is there (he's my favorite!!!) and because of the interactive surf dance show for the kids. My kids love it, and it is just fun to see all the kids having so much fun with the characters.

I like Storyteller's food best. It is the favorite of my parents and my 18 year old daughter. You can order off the menu or get the buffet. They have eggs benedict (I didn't see that any place else, but could have missed it...) on both, and if they aren't to your liking from the buffet, they'll make them to order and bring them out to you. My son likes it best because, at 3, he's still a little afraid of "Giant Mickey Mouse" and the other big characters, but he expects bears to be big, so he likes them a bit better.

My 8 year old likes Minnie's best because they have the most characters.

Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. If you have little girls who love princesses, I would say without a doubt, Ariel's Grotto. If I had to pick just one, I would have to say Surfs Up with Mickey and Friends. It has excellent food and is one place where you can see some of the more popular characters without having to get up early and queue up.

I agree it depends on what you are looking for.

We love Minnies because there are so many characters and they really do a great job of interacting with everyone.

Surfs up with Mickey is my kids favourite. We lucked out a couple times and went near the end of the breakfast and were literally one of three families there. All I can say is that Daisy (whom we didn't see the entire trip anywhere else) sat down and coloured a picture with my daughter for nearly half an hour and danced with the baby. You can't beat that kind of interaction. I think that because its a bit "farther" from the parks than the others it doesn't get the same crowds.

We didn't really like Storytellers, because my kids didn't know who the bears were and Chip and Dale weren't dressed right (they are big fans of the Rescue Rangers cartoon series). Also we kinda felt like we were being too loud in the restaurant because it was a bit fancier than the others.

Ariels we really liked but holy its expensive (we went for lunch).

I agree with a PP - We don't particularly care for Goofy's. Ariel's was okay - we're glad we went, but don't need to do it again. We really like Minnie and Friends and go every trip! Mickey's is great for interaction (I think as good as Minnie's), and Storyteller's has the best food.

Of course, this is just the opinion of our family :goodvibes

What characters are at Minnie's? I though I had heard Captain Hook is usually there, in which case I would definitely eat there - my kids are huge Captain Hook fans.

Thanks!

It isn't always the same characters. There are a few that are always there:

Minnie
Pooh
Tigger

Others we have seen (that I can remember right now):

Captain Hook
Peter Pan
Fairy Godmother
Eyore
Chip/Dale
Pigglet

I honestly think Minnie and Friends has more characters per meal than any of the others. If not, it certainly feels like it to us!

In one breakfast at Minnies we had Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Chip & Dale, Fairy Godmother, Max, Captain Hook and Minnie

In our one trip we saw most of those characters as well as Gipetto (sp) and capt hook. Hook was my favorite. I told my DD (2 at the time) to say tick tick and hook gave me the "meet the parents" I'm watching you signal with his good hand and was messing with me the rest of the time whenever he passed.

Minnie's is the only one I've been too thus far as I really liked it. We are trying AG next trip since our DD loves everything princess now. Last time Minnie was her favorite so that's why we did Minnie's.

We accidentally ended up at Minnie's and we had a really good time. The food was also quite tasty.

Wow! Thanks to Everyone!! I am so very grateful! I will try Minnie's ... should be awesome
