I need your input - DH, DS's age 7 & 9, & I are going in Nov (1st time for the boys). Had originally planned to go to AK on a Monday & had PS at 8:10a for Donald's Breakfastosaurus; however, now w/ Mondays being Magic Hours/EE for AK I wasn't sure. So I also made a PS for 11a at 1900 Park Fare for a character breakfast (different day). We are on a budget so can do only 1 - your thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:D

If you had girls I would say Cindy's Royal Table. But with boys it just depends. Do they like Pooh and friends (Crystal Palace). Mickey and Friends (Chef Mickey's). Chip and Dale (Garden Grill at Epcot) or Mad Hatter the Beast, etc at 1900 Park Fare.

I think the food is all the same for breakfast; good. My DS age 8 loves the monorail so we like to do Chef Mickeys. The monorail comes right through the hotel every 10 minutes or so.

Good luck.

Crystal Palace will not have reopened in November, so if you want to do a character breakfast in the MK, then I would choose the Pooh and friends breakfast at Tony's...since your son's likely wouldn't be overly interested in the Princesses at the castle.

Another idea is a late PS at either 1900 Park Faire... do note that Mary Poppins and Alice are there, but also Pooh, the Mad Hatter, and others sometimes make surprise visits.

For Mickey, I would suggest the Polynesian with Mickey... this may be your best bet!

Does your breakfast have to be that day? Could you do it another day at AK when it's not EE?

Why do you think EE will make it a problem? Are you staying on or off-site? I wouldn't worry about it either way and just go do your original plan. If you don't want to stay in that park long, just do a few main attractions that am and then leave and go to another park (assuming you have hoppers).

I didn't really care for 1900 Park Fare. We did it twice, but only because Mary Poppins was a no show for our first time. You know your boys better than anyone, so you would know what characters they'd rather see.

The Crystal Palace was closed when we were there in August...I don't know when it's scheduled to reopen.

We did the breakfast at 1900 Park Faire and the meal was wonderful!!! Don't miss the strawberry soup! There's also fresh omelets made to order!!

I have a couple of photos from that breakfast uploaded to an online photo album if you'd like to take a look...
