Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. We are a party of 14 coming from the uk and would like to know the best place to have a character breakfast. Last year myself, DH and DD tried Chef Mickey's and we thought it was very chaotic and Mickey never came to our table!!!

This time I thought maybe we should try to eat at the theme parks for a character breakfast. Can anyone recommend the best place. We have boys in our party as well as girls (and some seniors!)

Many thanks.

For our Grand Gathering last June we did the breakfast at Crystal Palace. The character interaction is great and everyone enjoyed the food. You will need to make your PS through Group Dining with a party of 13 or more. If you get an early PS there are lots of great photo ops before the Magic Kingdom opens.

Our friends rave about CP. Not every place can accomodate such a large party. So I would call wdw-dine and get some help.

Hi :sunny:

Having only been to WDW one time, our only character breakfast was at the Crystal Palace in MK. We have a boy and girl, ages 8 and 5 at the time, and they really enjoyed the character interaction with Pooh, Eyeore, Piglet (Pigwit as my daughter use to call him) and of course, Tigger (our family favorite). I was also concerned about not going to Cindy's castle because it really struck us as a girly thing.

We were one of the first families in for the morning and I feel the characters stayed at our table longer because the restaurant had not filled up yet. The kids also marched around the restaurant with the characters. Good photo ops abound.

Food was ok but it was the characters and the atmosphere that made it worth it.

Hope this helps.

We think the absolute best character breakfast is Donalds at the Animal Kingdom. It is a must for us every year. We find that the food, the service, and the character interaction is better than Chef Mickeys or CP.

CP is our favorite character breakfast spot, but Donald's Breakfastosaurus was OK, too. Maybe it was an off-morning, but most of the food seemed tepid at best and just average. That was in October of 2002, though, and I'm thinking of giving it another try this year. If the boys in your travel party are older than 5 or 6, they may prefer this to Pooh and friends at CP (but we think the Puffed French Toast at CP is the best breakfast treat at WDW!).

CP is also our fav we had a PS for 8am on a 9am open day,it was a great way to start a day, especially when they let you through the front gate and everyone else is in line waiting for it to open :flower:
Its nice to walk down Main Street when its quiet great photo op.
It wasnt very busy in the CP either at that time of the morning so you get loads of character interaction :wizard:

Another vote for Crystal Palace. We like the food and atmosphere. We didn't like Donald's in AK at all. The food was cold and the atmosphere was worse than the counterservice restaurants.
