Making our first pilgramage to the Fort in late October. Feedback here is most helpful. thanks so much......Everyone seems to be in agreement that a character breakfast is a good ideal since we have an eight year old daughter. which breakfast do you recomend. How many are there to pick from etc...Do I need to make a reservation for one now, or do I do this when we arrive. I am assuming that most every park has its own breakfast, or are these resort deals.

LMK which one you guys think is good.

Thanks

We've done the Pooh breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the MK and Donald's breakfast at AK and loved them both. This time we are doing Pooh and the Contemporary breakfast at Chef Mickey's (never done it but heard good things about it). Call NOW to make your priority seatings--you may have to take whatever times are left anyway.

Have you checked out the info about the MK Halloween Party? We are doing it this trip--tickets are in the Passporter!! So excited to be going 'home'!

I think everyone should experience Chef Mickey's at least once! Your 8-year-old will love it!

We also really like Donalds Breakfastosaurus in Animal Kingdom!

Both places are noisy, with lots of activity going on! Both have very good food too!

We did Chef Mickey's for dinner. I highly reccommend it! I have heard it is great for breakfast also.

The dinner was awesome, buffet with lots of choices...prime rib, roast turkey breast, shrimp, "mickey" shaped ravioli, and great children's bar and excellent desserts. We did a 5:00 seating, and the character interaction was the best! We chose a dinner rather than a breakfast because we did not want to use up the early time for eating - we hit the parks instead. Then after a short afternoon break back at the cabin, we took the resort boat to the Contempary Resort- Chef Mickeys. After dinner we took the monorail to MK.

Also, Trail's End restaurant has an excellent breakfast buffet(no characters though). Lots of choices including Mickey waffles and a huge donut bar.

Whatever you chose I highly suggest getting PS now. Depending on when you are going to WDW, it may be to late if you wait until you get there.

Good luck and have fun!

We really enjoyed Donald's Breakfastosaurus in AK and dinner at Chef Mickey's last summer.

This summer my 6½ y.o. g'daughter is on a "princess hunt", so in addition to doing Donald's and Chef Mickey's, we are doing the Storybook Princess Breakfast, Mary Poppin's breakfast and Cinderella's dinner ... my GD really wanted to do CRT, but I wasn't interested in jumping thru hoops to get a CRT reservation.

Given the popularity of the CRT, I'm surprised that Disney doesn't have Cindy appear at lunch and dinner too ... guess it has to do with finding "Cindys" ...

Hi! I've been lurking here and on the disabilities board for a while. We plan to go to WDW in 2 years (I like to be prepared! :D

Could you please post about your Princess search, and which of the character breakfasts (meals) you enjoyed most? Thanks a lot!

I'm planning on posting a trip report on the trip report forum when I get back and will be sure to let everyone know how the "princess hunt" went.

Since we fly home on Labor Day (Sept. 2) and school starts the next day it may be a couple of days before I am able to type a report.

Definitely go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We just came back from FW and we went to Chef Mickeys and thought it was great. The food was typical buffet breakfast but the characters were excellent and our kids got to meet all of the characters and had photos with them. Well worth the experience. They were raving about it for days afterward.
