Character breakfast?

trying to decide between Tuskerhouse and Garden Grill for character breakfast? Any info would be appreciated.

Can’t go wrong with either one, in my opinion!!! Tusker has more options if you have a picky eater....my kids still rave about the Fruit Loops

However, if not picky both are awesome! I love the revolving aspect of Garden Grill....not to mention the empty line at Soarin’ if you get an early ADR! However, I also love being in an empty Animal Kingdom after an early breakfast there!

You can't go wrong with either. Tusker House does not Rivers of Light seating attached with reservation and you need to ask for that type of reservation when you schedule. There is no additional cost.

Tusker House has more variety in food offerings, better theming, and super delicious pineapple/orange/guava juice. Garden Grill is more generic, but the food is still tasty and we had more/longer character interactions there compared to TH. Plus, the family style food is brought to you there instead of going up to the buffet like at TH, so it is more relaxing. Both are good choices in their own way, but i’d pick TH.

I've eaten at both. If you want a more intimate experience, where all your food is brought to you & you just get to sit & relax (more important if you have little ones you'd have to make plates for at a buffet), then book GG. GG is so much less frenetic than other character meals. Usually at buffets one or more of us is always up getting something, at GG you'll get more quality family meal time

We have enjoyed them both. TH has some different foods that we love - it also is a buffet. GC is not a buffet. We really enjoy them both. TH definitely gives you the regular breakfast foods plus different foods. You can't go wrong with either.

Funny! These are the two we had to decide between as well. For us, the deciding factors were Chip and Dale (my nieces favorites) and the fact they bring breakfast to you instead of having to get up and get your own. The HUGE cinnamon roll helped too.

There IS an additional cost for ROL packages. It's only about $5 per person, so it may have seemed like there wasn't, but it is more expensive than a regular ADR.

It depends on the type of experience you are looking for.

We love TH. I think, in terms of food and atmosphere, it's the best character meal in WDW. However, with younger children, I find buffets to be a bit of a pain. It's a lot of up and down and not having a lot of time to actually sit and eat with your family.

GG, on the other hand, is more relaxing as they bring the food to you. However, the food isn't as good, IMHO and there isn't a lot of variety.

Just want to add that GG also has the POG juice! I thought the breakfast food we had there was tasty, and you don't have to stress about missing a character when you're up getting food at the buffet. When we went there the characters were able to come around several times.

my opinion as well. both are really goodfor the characters, however we do favor the variety at TH better
