We wanted to plan a character b-fast for our last morning in WDW. We are a family or 4...ds 7 & dd 3. What is your favorite character breakfast? It doesn't matter if it's at a resort of in a park, buffet or sit-down. We will probably rule out the 2 princess b-fasts just because of the difficulty getting res & my ds would probably not enjoy the princesses (I would probably enjoy it more than anyone:)

Just wanted to know what you all thought.

Thanks

We have never been to Disney World so take what I say with a gain a salt ;)

But on our last day we are having a character meal at Chef Mickey. That way my son can say "Bye" to the Mickey & the others.

We like Chef Mickey's but the hustle and bustle sometimes gets to me. My last two times there - we sat for an hour and Mickey never got to our table. Quite a disappointment for our 3 yo DS - but he couldn't sit anymore.

I really prefer CP with an early res. I like to get in the park early and have Main St. all to ourselves. With few people in the restaurant when we get there we get character interaction early and often and it is easy to get your food. And I'm a big Eeyore fan!

Go to Chef Mickey's and if you have the time, get the 11:15am PS. It is the last one of the day and as people are leaving, no one is coming in. We saw all the charaters at least three times on our last visit. Was even able to pull Mickey aside and have a CM take a family photo.

Since nobody has mentioned it yet - Donald's Breakfastaruous at Animal Kingdom is very good. We get the earliest ps possible so that way when we're done eating, the park is usually just opening. Characters that you'll find there are Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and I think Chip and Dale.

Ratpack---

That is good to know about the late PS at Chef Mickey. Originally we at an 8:30am one but after thinking about it we decided to change it to a later one.

So now we will be having breakfast with Mickey & the gang at 11:00am on our last day

Our all time favorite character meal (actually our all time favorite meal at WDW) is the Crystal Palace character breakfast. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and character interaction is the best I've seen. We always go there at least twice during our vacations. With that said, our second favorite meal is the Chef Mickey breakfast and going there has turned into one of our last day traditions.

Chef Mickey's....great breakfast food and the characters rotate from table to table- it was nice but did not have much "theming" involved and will not do this one again.

Donald's Breakfastsaurus....we really liked this one- it seemed "cozier" than Chef Mickey's and the decor was more appealing. The food was pretty good and they kept it well stocked. You pass by the dinosaur models on the way in and that makes it nicer than going through the Contemporary Resort that really doesn't have much appeal for my children.

My favorite meal was probably at the Liberty Tavern- I don't think they do breakfasts though- all the characters were very attentive and even sat down with you to eat- there are benches so the big characters can snuggle up to you- at the other ones it's just kind of stand and hug- the kids loved sitting in Goofy's lap here!

Love Donald's in AK and your kids are the perfect ages,(although my DS is 12 and he still loves it). Food is good and the best characters. CM often do gags on guests also. If you don't want a park, 1900 PF has the best food out of all the breakfast buffets IMHO. did it on New Year's Day then took monrail to MK. Make your own omlettes are great. We had Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter and Belle(but I think its usually Alice) and Mary Poppins was in the lobby for pictures and autpgraphs. I don't like Chef Mickey's because of the sensory overload there, but food is OK.

I'd vote for Donalds as a 1st choice and 2nd would be Cape May. That would be nice on your last day to eat and then walk around the Boardwalk for a while.

1st choice for me would be Crystal Palace. The food is great and character interaction has been very good the 2X we've been there. Ialso love the settting

Donald's is a very close second. The CM's are very entertaining and the Character interaction was good the 1st tiem and great the second. The food is very good, but CP's was slightly better.

If they ever bring back Hollywood and vine, it would probably be my #1. The character interaction there was the best we've had.
