We've done Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom (buffet style), the Princess Brkfst in Norway at EPCOT (Family Style), and Lilo & Stitch at Ohana (Polynesian Resort; Family Style). Ooooh, nice to see the Cape May Cafe CB gets a big thumbs up, too, though we haven't been yet. We've had resv's for Mickey and Friends at the Contemporary twice, but had to cancel each time - so we're doing that one next time around FOR SURE... All the classic characters in one place -- just GOTTA!!!
Each of them is a different experience for sure. As for the food quality, we lean towards Ohana or the Princess Char Brkfst. And it's nice to be able to stay comfortable at the table b/c food is delivered. *special requests or any dietary restrictions are always handled well*
For selection, the Crystal Palace buffet in MK wins hands down; and their omellete station is great (but they used a salted oil that ruined my omellete for me.

I had to reorder, telling them to please go with plain oil; which wasted a good 30 minutes b/c the lines get LONG once the place is full

).
For the "magic" aspect... I really can't conjure any better sight than Main Street USA in the early morning light, with Cinderella's Castle looking magnificent, before the park is open

(which is why we always book CP in MK for an early, early seating). Only bummer is that we hang-out so long the park is hopping when we leave. But that's a small price to pay for so much magic!!
If doing a long trip, booking Char Brkfsts on Non-Park days in one of the Resorts is a great time to do them and a whole lot of fun!!
Besides the characters and the food...
Then there's taking pictures
The view through all the walls of windows at Ohana can't be beat, but be carefull to take any pics aiming in, towards the dining room, so the pics don't get totally washed out from daylight backlighting. The Norway dining room was difficult for good pics (very dim, which makes the flash bright and kills background). For picture quality, Crystal Palace is the overall winner - you may not even need a flash at all, but if you use one, it's bright enough in there to not have the flash washout the whole background scenery.
That's it from my little magic notebook. And I agree with
MisMikiNikiLynne - Life's too short! Do more than one if you can swing it... Every time is a fun time!
