Character breakfast vs Morning hours in the parks?

I am looking at booking a character meal for our summer trip. We have always done Goofys for dinner. I want to try Minnies for Breakfast, but my concern is using up valuable morning park time for a long sit down meal. We all know you get more done first thing in the morning in the parks. What are some opinions on this??? Thanks!

Do a late breakfast if your worried about missing out. It takes about an hour to do and they always seem to have a lot of characters for this one.

We love going to Minnie's for brunch after a couple hours enjoying rides whether it's a MM day or not. Last May we had a very late PS @ Minnie's ~ we started the morning with our MM, then DD had her BBB transformation then we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Minnie's ~ very few other guests but lots of characters.

Either do a late breakfast, or do it on a MM day where you won't be using the MM option (ex. use your MM on Saturday and book Minnies during MM time on Sunday). By the time you get done with breakfast park will probably have just opened. ....of course if you are staying onsite and you have both MM, this may not be the best choice.

I have always done Minnie's first thing in the morning, and never had a problem getting through everything I wanted to in the morning after eating, but both times have been during the off season. Doing a later breakfast for Minnie's so you still ahve time to make the morning rounds for a couple of hours sounds like a very do-able thing to do for the summer.
