How long does a character breakfast take? I have ADR at 10:30 on the day we leave. Our flight is at 3:55 so I think the ME will pick us up around 1. We will have to eat breakfast and get back to POP for the ME. Is that enough time?? I keep calling to get an earlier time, but they are booked. I was thinking about switching to Cape May Cafe. They have a lot of earlier ADRs, but I have to decide fast. What would you do?? Which one is better for breakfast, and why??

Thanks!!

I don't think you mentioned where you have ADR's now. From the Pop you will have to take a bus to MGM and catch the boat to the BC for Cape May Cafe. That will take some time. But to answer you initial question, plan on being seated after your ADR time, but once seated you can be out in an hour. We have had breakfast at CP several times and have always been out in an hour and have seen all of the characters. Just make sure you are all packed, and you should make it.

We have had the character breakfast at Cape May, and it was wonderful. It was several years ago. Others may be able to give you more up-to-date reviews.

Have fun!

Oops.. Our ADR right now is for Chef Mickeys. I am not sure if we should switch to Cape May Cafe.

you might be cutting it close, since you might not be seated right at 10:30. although, it is a buffet, so you might have time to eat but might miss a character or 2.

You will be cutting it close, as you have to bus to MK and monorail or walk to the CR. Chef Mickey's tends to take longer because the characters will be out at the tables and then they are called back to do the song/dance that they do. It also takes longer to get seated. I actually enjoyed our breakfast at Cape May much better than Chef Mickey's. I think the restaurant is prettier also.

Another option to busing to MGM is to go to DTD and then catch the bus to the BC. I'd go earlier to Cape May. You should really enjoy it! Besides, the BC is beautiful!!!

Based on the information you have given. You will be cutting it very close to the time you need to be back at your resort. I would try for another ADR if at all possible. Good luck
