we have booked to go half board, but i have been looking at doing a character breakfast possible as these are the cheapest, because you get breakfast anyway in the price of the hotel what happens to this if you do book a character breakfast, or do you just loose that? hope i explained it properly:eek:

Yes if you opt for a character breakfast it is cheaper if you are staying onsite as you are basically upgrading from a normal breakfast to a character one.

Some people think its a waste doing a character meal then as you already have breakfast included but we've done it twice and really enjoyed it.

The first time we did the early sitting and the 2nd time the later sittng. I much preferred the later one as I dont like eating early anyhow.

We went into the park for an hour for EMH and then went back out for breakfast. - its amazing how EMH builds up an appetite and we didnt feel we wanted to rush to get into the park as we'd already done lots of rides.
So we lingered over breakfast and found we didnt need any lunch that day either

Where are the character breakfasts held - we hope to do one on our trip in two weeks! Can we book at the hotel when we arrive or would we need to do it now (going on Sun to Wed)

They are held at Cafe Mickey in the Village. You can book on arrival but if you are staying on site you can do it before you go which means you pay in £ rather than Euros (assuming you are from UK of course)

No am here is Ireland - but not sure what our plans will be for the few days - being disney virgins! Thanks

I'm staying in the cheyenne can someone tell me how much extra is costs to upgrade to a character breakfast?

I only have the price up to 2nd April - its £12 for adults and £8 for children

I think we payed 17 euros in 2007 and the price was slightly higher if you were not staying in a Disney Hotel.
We did not enjoy it a lot as our party is of 4 adults (my kids were then 21 and 14) and we were a bit *rushed* to finish our breakfast and go.

We had had a character brekkie in 1996 when it was held at Hotel New York and it was A LOT better both for interaction and food, so my opinion can be suffering the *good old times* influence lol but i would go for a character lunch ;)
