Character Breakfast Hilton Lake Buena Vista - review

We went to the Covington Mill restaurant at the Hilton in Downtown Disney the first SUnday in March. It was excellent!!!

The parking is validated (waived by the restaurant) when you pay for your meal. The food is either buffet at $22.50 per adult or you can order off the menu. The food was fresh, plentiful and made on site. Service was excellent.

We arrived at about 8:15am. At exactly 8:30 just as stated by the wait staff Minnie Mouse and Goofy appeared. They each went individually to each table and spent two to three minutes with each child. SInce there were not a lot of guests they both came by our table about six times. My 3 year old was in heaven.

Also about 30 minutes later came the fox and big bear (I don't know there names but someone said they were from the zipp be dee movie) came by.

Minnie and goofy were still there. The staff stated it is always Minnie and sometimes Mickey or Donald comes by. A minimum four disney characters come by.

I highly recommend this over the character breakfast at Disney. It was very up close and personal with excellent food, service and Disney characters. I do not know how much it is for a child since the waiter did not bill for my son. He hardly ate anything since he was in such awe. So for $45 plus tip and free parking it was well worth the 2 hours we spent

Thanks for the great review . We are always looking for new things to try in the Orlando area, and we are BIG fans of character meals, so we may have to add this breakfast to the list for an upcoming trip!

We will be heading to the Hilton for the character breakfast in August with hope of meeting Brer Fox and Brer Bear. Did you have to make reservations for this or was it walk-in?

Great review & great to hear about this. So much cheaper than a Disney character meal. We did one at the Dolphin or Swan a couple years ago and also really liked it. There was hardly anyone there so we go tons of interaction.
