Character Breakfast for kid-less couple

DH and I are trying to decide between Akershus and 1900 Park Fare for a character breakfast.

DH is a picky eater and I'm not at all picky.

Which would you pick?

1900 Park Fare has a bigger selection, but both are wonderful. Another suggestion would be Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary which is also great.

I've done 1900 Park Fare with a non-kid group. I had fun, really liked the characters there. I haven't done characters anywhere else, so I can't compare but we all enjoyed it.

My husband and I did the Chef Mickey and we had a great time with the Characters, and really enjoyed the Buffet.

DH and I (with no kids) have done breakfast at 1900 PF, breakfast at Cape May, and dinner at Akershus, all with characters. DH is a bit of a picky eater, too, and he wasn't terribly happy with the dinner food choices at Akershus. I don't know what the breakfast is like, but I do know dinner was definitely with a Norwegian emphasis. We had a bad experience at Cape May, so I would recommend 1900 PF. I remember that, other than a bit of a wait to get in, we had a nice time, and there was good character interaction. Plus, you can't beat the strawberry soup!

Dh and I used to do Cape May before dd was born and we enjoyed it as "adults" only. I also recommend 1900 PF as well, food is good and character interaction is fun for adults too. Feel free to check out our reviews.

we have done Tusker house with no kiddos...that is in AK...also we have done Crystal Palace with no kiddos...and Akershus would be a great time without the kiddos..
We have enjoyed going with and without the little grandkids...
I think if you go to any of these character breakfasts...you will enjoy yourself..

I would say 1900 Park Fare. The characters there really seem to "play it up" with adults and are quite comical

Hubby and I did Akershus last trip. On my first WDW trip with family (in 2001), we went to 1900 Park Fare. I know that's a long time ago, but from what I remember the food choices were great and perfect for a "picky" eater and the character interaction was also great.

Food was a little less stellar for a "picky" eater at Akershus, although we enjoyed it, but I'm thinking it would be pretty limited for your DH. And the interaction with the Princesses was ok, but definitely more fun for the kids than for two adults.

We did both with a kid in January. 1900 Park Fare is good if you've not got kids I think. Chef Mickey's is more kid focused.
