The wonder has them 7 night and over cruises so I'm sure the magic has them been a while since I been on the magic. The wonder you had to sign up for it. It was Mickey, Minnie, goofy, chip and dale. Also I think Pluto but not positive.
It may depend. In the past the Character breakfast ("regular" Disney characters) was only on the Magic and Wonder cruises that were at least 7 nights long and had at least 3 sea days (or 2 sea days and one late port arrival day). You were assigned to a specific breakfast based on your dinner rotation/seating time.
The Fantasy has started doing the Character breakfast (with Disney Jr. characters) as a ticketed (free) event.
The Magic & Wonder have gone to the ticketed event type breakfast, but, AFAIK, the Wonder at least has the regular Disney characters (not Disney Jr). Don't know if it's still limited to those cruises of 7 nights and longer. Or if the "must have 3 sea days" thing is still applicable (although I'm leaning toward not, in this case).
You can find out if your cruise has a character breakfast, and where to pick up the tickets for it in the Navigator you get at check in at the port.
I was on the Wonder Nov 6 sailing & the character breakfast was Sofia, Doc McStuffins, Jake & Mickey. It was a ticketed event. We were a 7 night sailing with 3 sea days.
