Character Breakfast Bus timing

I am aware of the Character Breakfast Bus for breakfasts in the parks but not sure about what time to wait for it. We're staying at POFQ and having breakfast at CP at 8:10. According to the Passporter, the MK bus starts at 6:30 instead of the usual 7:30 for the other parks. Has anyone had experience with this? I'm concerned about the walking time from the bus to the restaurant (after the drive time) in order to get inside to check in at the podium by about 8 (and maybe get a quick pic in an empty park-main reason for the ADR!). Thanks for any advice you can give!

I'm curious about this too...I'm in the same situation...and unknowingly booked that CP ressie on an EMH day..

We've also got a CM ADR for roughly 8am the day after. How hard is it to get to CR by bus for ADRs?

We always plan to be to the bus stop an hour before our ADR and have never had a problem getting a photo in before we check in at CP for the 8:05 ressie. There's a clearly marked ticket entrance for breakfast ADR people at the gate.

For the person with an 8:00 ADR on a EMH morning, there is no additional line. You'll just walk in with the EMH guests. As far as getting to CM, take the bus from your resort to MK. Then, hop on the monorail over to CR. It should be no problem at all!

If you plan on getting a 7ish bus you'll have plenty of time. When you get to the gate there is a ADR entrance, you'll see a few CM there. They will get you in. Since there is nobody really walking around the walk times go quick. Also an ADR at 810am most likely means seating at 820am, so just go to the podium and get checked, then you can wander for a bit to take pics

a little add'l advice re: early b'fast at monorail resorts... when you get on the bus at your resort (POR) be sure to tell the driver you are heading to the CR for a CM b'fast... quite often (our experience all three times) the driver will make the stop at MK and let those people off, then continue on to the monorail resorts and give you a ride right there, no switching to the monorail necessary... it's a nice little extra pixie dust

We always tried to be at the bus stop by 7, 7:15 at the very latest. We were never late. The bus driver also dropped us off at CR when we went last year. We planned to take the monorail, but were happily surprised.

Leave early!!! Like everyone else says, 7-7:15 a.m.

We stayed at OKW last year and had an ADR at CP @ 8:05 a.m. We were at the bus stop at 7:15-7:20 a.m. The bus didn't pick us up until 7:45-7:50 a.m. We didn't have a car, and still don't know what was taking so long, but we may have just missed it. We wanted to take a bunch of pics in front of the castle, but were running late because of the bus. And by the time we were done eating, the park had opened. I did get a few pics, but none of us in front of the castle.

Agree on 7:00 - 7:15.. the breakfast buses start about 2 hrs before park opening but there is one at about 2:00 before and another about 1:30 before so if you miss one you will wait a bit... don't stress if you are a few minutes late they will still seat you.

At the MK the breakfast gate is off to the right side near the guest services window. It can be hard to see of there is a crowd building.
