Character Breakfast at the Fort?

I'm pretty sure Chip & Dale used to have a character breakfast at Fort Wilderness. Anyone remember this, or am I crazy? I have photos from about 18 years ago depicting Chip & Dale in chef outfits (and Donald in a coonskin cap) at a breakfast.

Anyone know what it was called or have any information about it? If it wasn't at the Fort, any idea where it was?

You're not crazy. If I remember correctly it was Chip & Dale's Breakfast Jamboree. It was just as popular as the Hoop Dee Doo and just as big a production. I'm pretty sure that upstairs in Pioneer Hall, while most of the pictures along the wall are of the various HDD casts, there are a few pictures from Chip & Dale's as well. Melvin the Moose (from the Country Bear's) also had a role in the show as well.

Definitely something from WDW's past I'd love to see make a comeback.

Yes, you are correct, there has been discussions on this Forum about this sometime back.

Thanks, all! I've gone back and looked at the photos again, and they're from 1989, so the dates definitely match up. I don't remember Melvin being there, but I was 4 at the time, so that could have easily slipped my mind!

We were there in July, 1987 and it was called "Melvin the Moose Breakfast Show". It was awesome. Disney sucks for discontinuing this. Really.
