Hi, All.

I'm making my very first solo trip to WDW October 23-27.

I've been to character meals multiple times on previous trips, all without kids and feel no "weirdness" at all about doing so. However, going by myself gives me pause. Has anybody out there done this? Usually, breakfast at CRT (yes, I've been very lucky) is a highlight of my trips, but I don't want to feel out of place.

Any advice (or stories) would be greatly appreciated.

:)

I have done several character meals as a singlt and LOVE it.

I ask the serveri n advance to take my piture with the characters so they know I want the interaction.

SOmetimes I strike up a conversation with neighboring kids and sometimes I bring a book to pass the time untill they arrive. I also love talking to the servers about disney rumors etc...

Remember your in the World and whatever you do you will have a blast. Have a great trip.

Yes. Though, not by chocie. My sister and I had reservations for
Donald's Breakfastsaurus at the Restaurantosaurus at the Animal Kingdom. She wasn't feeling well, so instead of canceling both reservations, I canceled hers and kept mine. And while she slept in, we later met for lunch at the Animal Kingdom, I had breakfast
and met one of the nicest cast members, who's name noe escapes me.

As a siide note, I have found, that if one is a single traveler, Walt Disney World is one of the best places to visit. Enjoy one's next visit.
