Character Attendant

At AK, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all had to check the guest register at AKL to make sure everyone was being taken care of properly.

Belle may have to check on her father, or make sure Lumiere or Chip weren't running amuck in the kitchen.

Aurora may have to make sure the fairies aren't changing the color of anymore of her dresses.

Pooh has to check on his huny pots.

Alladin/Genie have to make sure Abu isn't bugging the magic carpet...

There's lots you can do with this!

I've heard:

- Aladdin and Jasmine need to return to the palace, because they're going to see the Sultan.
- Donald is getting a call from Daisy.
- Rafiki needed to check in with Simba and Nala.

When I was at Epcot on Saturday Marie had to go in for some warm milk (it was a chilly night)... It was cute...

My favorite was, "Stitch will be right back after he has a peanut butter sandwich."

... "Ariel has to get back in the water for a little while." That once actually seems believeable!

That was at Disneyland a few years back when she was still signing autographs (with fins) in her Grotto (now it's the Pixie Hollow area). It was interesting watching them get Ariel out of there -- sort of a cross between a wheelbarrow and a wheelchair.;)

At AK Lilo and Stitch were going for some Jungle Juice.

While Attendants can make up whatever they would like to say, there are a few restrictions. Basically, they will help you think quickly to make them up while you are training. Then you can say anything, but we tend to shy away from "Pluto is going to get a drink of water" because it adds a human-like comparison and obviously, we all know Pluto is clearly a dog. We don't usually go for a walk, because of what happens when dogs go for walks.....and Pluto NEVER gets a bone, chip and dale never check or eat their nuts, etc. Pluto can have a doggie treat.....Chip and Dale are checking on their secret stash of acorns.........etc. Trust me, it's really fun to think them up and making different ones helps the character have multiple things to do all day, not just getting tea every time they need to leave. It helps the day go by and Guests, while still upset, will be more amused by them (drunks or last-day guests are sometimes different). But yes it is worked on in training. We call them 5-minute Fairy Tales (obviously not 5 minutes though).
Have a Magical Day!!!
