It's getting close to time to leave on our trip and I've gathered some last minute questions.

questions

toontown- does being in toon town before party starts help get a jump on lines? who's in costume? how long do they stay out before switching? we'll be going on a weekday party night if that matters.

how are the lines for pooh bear, female villains at the party?

what's good to do during ptn on a party night? we aren't interested and have other nights for it anyway.

what's the best place for minnie interaction?

What is interaction with Buzz Lightyear like? is there a line? the times on the app seem very short. He is both kids favorite character so is a very high priority. hes pretty much the only character priority for one twin.

What is "ask otto"?

What items are eligible for the lego fill boxes at the lego store, particularly minifigures and duplo?

how long is wait for the fp line for rsr?

when is doc mcstuffins out? she seems to be out only on tues,Thursday and Saturday, is that right?

What's the best way to meet daisy?

rupunzel or snow white more likely at ariels grotto? who else is likely in the rotation right now?

reviews lately seem pretty negative for ariels so i was thinking about a different one. the princesses my two year cares about will be in the courtyard and those lines seem less time consuming than the royal hall. Any one been to Minnie and friends recently?

how does food for two year olds work at character breakfasts? we have vouchers for the adults and i need to be gf.

Favorite Parade viewing "secrets"? we want to see the Soundsational parade one day and the pixar play parade another day.

No, they will clear out Toontown before the Pre-Party starts and then allow guests back in who have their MHP wristbands. If you're already in the Toontown area it will probably help you be near the front of the MHP Pre-Party line, but you'll still have to wait until the official start of the party to get into Toontown. According to the reports I've seen, it's Mickey & Minnie, Chip & Dale, Donald & Daisy, and Goofy at the pre-party.

For a lot of information about the characters at MHP, I recommend checking out Kenny the Pirate's MHP Review:

There is a lot to do at the MHP, so it depends on whether you're a character family, an attraction family, or interested in something else. I would just avoid the parade route and/or trying to cross the parade route at that time.

As with any character, I think any meeting could be a lot of fun/very engaging or it could be a quick sign autograph and pose the photo and onto the next family. For Minnie, it's more a matter of which outfit would you like to see her in. She meets in her Halloween costumes (morning to mid-afternoon) and her 60th outfit (after Soundsational) in Town Square, in her flappers era outfit on BVS, and in her regular outfit (I think) at her house in Toontown.

It probably varies depending on the day...I've had some times when the characters were very engaging and other times when it was more like sign autograph and pose the photo and onto the next family. There is really no way to know in advance how you're meeting will go. Yes, there will probably be a line, but it might be pretty short (again hard to say in advance).

What is "ask otto"?
"Ask Otto" is the Disneyland Information hotline. It's useful for getting wait times, FP return times, etc., but much of that can now be done with the official Disneyland App.

It can vary...are you asking about the FP line for the attraction or the line to get the FP?

When I saw her, the line was about 10 minutes (not to bad). I don't know about Tue, Thu, and Sat schedule; I just looked on the Disneyland App and she has times listed for today (Wed).

Children two and under are free at buffets. You can still get them their own plate of food from the buffet or they can eat off your plate.

I don't think it's terribly hard to find a good spot for either of those parades anymore. Anywhere along the parade route should be fine.

For the female villains they share a line with the guys and it tends to stay about an hour throughout the party...and you have to try to time it correctly so you get them instead of the guys...if you didn't want to do TT the best time is right at the start...the line formed around 545 for a 6pm party

Meeting Buzz at DCA is pretty easy. Buzz, Woody, and Jessie rotate about every 20 minutes. In our experience the line is not that long. Generally you can see all three by getting in line to see one, then the next, and then the last. If you ONLY want to see Buzz you can ask the handlers what time he'll be there. The M&G is kind of out of the way of general traffic, so I think that keeps crowds down. It always seemed busier when it was across from the ride entrance. Now it's hidden in a quiet corner under the coaster.

When we were there we saw Doc McStuffins and other Disney Jr. characters daily. They rotated just like other M&G and met right outside the show building.

The best way to meet Daisy is to have a Disney Visa card and go to the M&G at DCA. If you don't have the card though, it sounds like you can meet her at the Halloween Pre Party. We've also seen her at Minnie's breakfast.

Just wanted to say I love the Pixar parade.

Thanks, this is all really helpful. On RSR, Im wondering about the fp line at the attraction. The app says the line is an hour a lot but that's the standby line correct?
