Does anyone know when the char breakfast is? I have looked at the Navigators and I could not find it. Thank you in advance

It's not listed in the Navigators. Everyone is assigned to a specific seating based on their dinner rotation/seating time. It will be printed on your dining ticket that's in your room once onboard. Generally you go after the first time you have dinner in Animator's Palate. Early seating seems to be around 8:00 and late seating around 9:30, I believe.

Will we be able to change it if we are out on a port adventure at the time. We have late seating and I am just worried the girls are going to miss it.

The character breakfast generally, is during a time not in port. It used to be on the next sea day after you were in Animator's Palate, but there aren't enough sea days, so I think they may do them on the 2 sea days and the Tracy Arm day. Or Juneau.

But, if you talk to your head server he may be able to get you changed, if you need to. One thing, you most likely won't have "your" servers for the breakfast, if you do this.

someone from either the DVC or last week's cruise reported it was on day 2 (1st sea day), day 6 (ketchikan), or day 7 (2nd sea day), which makes sense because the ship gets into ketchikan at 11:45 a.m., so there should be enough time for the breakfast.

Makes sense.

Does anyone know, what characters are at the breakfast (I've heard fab five and I've also heard Disney jr) and if it is the fab five, are they in Alaska gear?

Is this character breakfast just on the Alaska itinerary or is it only all Wonder itineraries? I don't recall this being available on the Dream. Is it just on the classic ships?

The characters have been in either their tropical wardrobe or their sailing gear in the past. I think the Alaska gear would be too warm for indoor meet and greet. For the Alaska cruise on June 1, the characters were Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. Someone reported Chip and Dale as well in the past. Hope to see them on my August cruise. Someone reported character breakfast on Tracy Arm day in addition to the two sea days and Ketchikan.

Have fun planning!

Character breakfasts are definitely on the classic ships on 7 day (or longer) voyages. We've only had these on our Magic & Wonder sailings, not on the Dream & Fantasy cruises we've taken.

Awesome thx! Until DS is old enough to enjoy all the "bells and whistles" on the new ships, we will be on the classics. He lit up when he saw Mickey and Minnie for the 1st time, so I think he will enjoy the character breakfast. :)

I realize this thread is about the Wonder in Alaska primarily, but I'll just point out that recently the Character breakfast on the Magic has the Disney Jr characters, not the Mickey & group ones.

Disney Magic also didn't have character breakfasts while in the Caribbean this past fall/winter/spring. I think there were a couple of sailings that were surprised with a Disney Junior Character Breakfast but it was only like 2 or 3.
