Hello, although I have visited DW many times, I have never chaperoned a trip before. I am a high school business, technology and social studies teacher and I (and our assistant principal) am chaperoning a small group of 10 high school students. I get to go to DW and it's free!
We leave on May 4th and return on the 7th. It will be short but again, I get to go for free.
I don't know where we are staying yet but I know it will be a value resort. I have recently stayed at Pop Century with my wife and kids so I kind of know what to expect from the values.
I know there will be a number of expectations and obligations as a chaperone but with the kids that are going I know that we will have a great time. The kids will be free during the day at the park we're visiting which means that I will be free too. With two small daughters, almost 2 and 5, I have not been free to roam the parks on my own the last several visits. My only real regret is going to be the inability to eat at Boma. I love their buffet!!!!!!
This is my first attempt at this but as I learn more about my trip and begin planning my days, I hope some of you may find it entertaining.
NOW, is there anyone who can explain to me how to put in a signature and countdown counter?
